Affordable Ultrasound Pelvis Scan
Affordable Ultrasound Pelvis Scan
Ultrasound pelvis scan makes an assessment of the organs and structure within the female pelvis. These are done through two methods:
- Ultrasound Transabdominal: This method is used for organs imaging in the pelvis region via the abdomen.
- Ultrasound Transvaginal: This method is used for organs imaging in the pelvis region via the vagina.
Ultrasound tests are safe, mostly non-invasive and relatively low-cost. It allows your doctor to produce images of internal organs within your body with no radiation, which makes it a safer and lower-risk option.
