Screen For Life: Health Screening For The Elderly
2 Minutes ReadLast updated: Jun 18, 2024
For older adults and senior citizens, obesity, high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol should be part of routine health screening. Colorectal cancer screening can also be included, if there is a family history of cancer. Health Screening for the elderly is important as it can detect specific age-related issues and help to ensure early intervention and favourable outcomes. These are two options you can consider:
1. Screen For Life
Screen For Life (SFL) is a national screening programme that encourages Singapore Citizens (SC) and Permanent Residents (PR) to do regular health screening and follow up.
